Rich Text Elements (RTE)

Wie regelmatig loopt heeft het vast en zeker zelf al ervaren, dat ongeacht hoe je jezelf ervoor voelt, bewegen maakt je gelukkiger.    In een studie van 2006 vonden onderzoekers dat zelfs een eenvoudige vorm van sporten, zoals een korte wandeling reeds de gemoedstoestand van iemand die ernstig depressief is kan verbeteren.  

Bij verschillende en diepgaandere studies kon men zelfs vaststellen dat het effect zelfs enige tijd na het sporten aan bleef houden.  In het beloningsdeel van de hersenen zag men aanpassingen, vergelijkbaar met het gebruik van drugs.  Laat dit vooral geen motivatie zijn om drugs te gebruiken, maar vooral om te starten met lopen! 

Buiten het feit dat lopen je gelukkiger maakt, helpt het ook als je wilt afvallen.    Je botten en gewrichten worden versterkt, vermindert de risico’s op kanker en worden er gezonde levensjaren toegevoegd aan je leven.
